High quality drone (great purchase, no regrets) - tips for potential buyers.

This was an amazing and extremely enjoyable purchase. I've had it  for 2-3 months now and have learned a few things that may be  helpful for new owners. This is the Fly More kit which differs from the standard drone in that it comes with 2 extra lithium batteries and a really good travel pack that serves to keep all  the gear in one place.

They each last about 20 minutes  and take a little   to charge. The "Fly More Kit" gives you an hour of flight time with 3 batteries. The holdall works well too as it keeps all  the pieces together and is essentially free for the price.

The drone comes with 8GB of internal  storage, but you'll probably want to buy a memory card. a Samsung 128GB Evo Plus Class 10 Micro SDXC from Amazon and it worked great with the drone and my Imac and MacBook with no issues. You should also buy a Polarizer ND  filter right away as the images won't look as good without it.

Went a month without the polarizer and wish I had bought one right away. This is because there is a lot of light affecting the drone at altitude. Especially if you're shooting around the ocean. I bought the PolarPro Vivid Collection Filter 3-Pack (ND4/PL, ND8/PL, ND16/PL) Cinema Series for DJI Mavic Air and it is top notch.

Shooting in manual mode with Mavic Air is recommended to get the best videos and photos. There is something called a 180 rule that can help you get your video settings right to get the best picture. However, when you are by the water, you cannot adjust the drone to  the 180 rule settings, no ND filter. Pros:

1) Folds up extremely small (smaller than all other DJI drones)

2) Relatively easy to learn  to fly.

3) Records 4K video, has a 28MP camera.

4) Has front, bottom and rear collision avoidance cameras  to automatically avoid collisions with objects. (This is important if you are new to drones to avoid crashes.)

5) Premium design and build .

Cons:

1) The Mavic Air runs on a WiFi signal and  works pretty well. I've been able to fly my drone 5000ft, but it often seems to get jammed when you're in a city. It's not overwhelming interference, but it's a minor issue.

In comparison, the Mavic Pro has an improved communication system that creates a better/stronger connection to the drone, but the Mavic Pro doesn't fold  as small and is a bit more expensive. That was the biggest difference in my opinion. The MavicPro will also  maintain a better connection when using "Active Track" due to the improved signal.

I hope this helps your research!

I'm writing this after having it for a week. I love it. I compared the Mavic Air to the Spark and the Mavic Pro and most felt this was the best of both worlds.

As an inexperienced pilot I can say that it is incredibly easy to fly, the pictures and video are fantastic.

I've flown in winds of up to 20mph and the video looks like it's a windless day. The case that comes with it is great. It is small and compact with plenty of space for your accessories. However, I bought a hard case because I wanted it.I've flown about 15 times.

It always brings more joy. The controller is comfortable and easy to use. For anyone getting this drone, as a first timer I would recommend watching some tutorials to prepare. I also recommend getting an SD card to put in.Make sure you get one  capable of writing at the speed needed to write 4K videos.

(I bought SANDISK Extreme)**Update**After 3 weeks of ownership I still feel the same. There is a lot to say about this drone and its portability.I carry it with me all  the time. I fly during my lunch break and every day  after work. Intelligent flight modes make capturing great movies a breeze.

The advertised runtime of each battery is 21 minutes. Don't expect it to be  average. That's a maximum and when he hits 19 minutes you'll be praying he can return home and land safely. With careful flying it is even 16-18 minutes.

This is because as soon as it warns you about the battery life,  it takes you home, replaces it and starts over. My recommendation is that you  stop reading reviews and buy it.You won't regret it.

Which is healthier spark or Mavic Air?

DJI Spark vs DJI Mavic Air: Performance In fact, in most measurable ways, the Mavic is superior. DJI' latest transportable drone has a powerful most flight time of twenty one minutes. That' a notable upgrade on the sixteen minutes you bought with the Spark. you'll be able to fly it any too.

What is enclosed within the DJI Mavic Air a pair of fly a lot of jazz band?

This combo contains two more Intelligent Flight Batteries ANd 3 spare pairs of Low-Noise Propellers. Compared to a customary combo, you furthermore may get an ND filters set, electric battery Charging Hub, electric battery to Power Bank Adapter, and a shoulder bag.
