1. I bought this camera for my YouTube channel Rishank Ponnanna. I have a Sony A6000 with a DJI Ronin Sc setup which is pretty heavy to carry around for vlogging and other purposes.

 

 I won't compare the quality between the two as it's a mirrorless camera with a 30k lens attached, but this little monster is amazing in its own way. It's super small and easy to carry. Nobody really notices, so vlogging is very easy.

 

I haven't transferred the footage to my computer yet as I received it today and recorded my vlog, but the video will be uploaded to my channel soon for you to watch there. The wide angle helps to take  great photos. and the professional mode is fabulous too. 

 

It struggles in low light, but it didn't bother me too much since it's so small and easy to carry and use. Another review talked about not being able to activate the product with a Galaxy Note 10+, 

 

I have the same phone and I downloaded the Mimo  app from the DJI website and the app recognized the Pocket 2 but I did did not receive the activation code on the camera. 

 

So I skipped it and once I was on the camera screen I reconnected my phone and sent an activation request and the camera showed it on the screen and I accepted it and the product  activated successfully. 

 

After that everything was short. Super easy to use, charges quickly but the battery also drains quickly. 

 

For long vlogs you need a longer battery.I  have no complaints about battery life due to the form factor, as far as I can tell. Overall I love this little monster and it's worth every penny. I bought it for 40.8k. Hope this helps.

 

 

2. The osmo pocket 2 is not a typical video camera, it is a hybrid drone camera and action cam. Lots of Misunderstood Features The osmo pocket 2 is basically a drone camera with a portable battery. 

 

It has the characteristics of a drone camera with the added functionality of a 3-axis gimbals stability action camera. As a drone camera, it must be activated via an app and transfer photos via an SD card with an adapter.Like all drones and drone cameras  it gets very hot so I bought the Sunset White to cool it down. 

 

Drone gimbals are fragile. Pros It's a great entry-level camcorder, captures low-light images to impress and produces true color interior shots instead of orange. yellow veil that you find in most cameras.The image quality is 12 MP but has been increased to 48 MP. Time Lapse and Motion Lapse function via dji app and screen. 

 

Portable pocket size.Bluetooth stick allows adding microphones Robust  Cons Screen is small, you can't tell if the picture is good or not. Battery life is poor, but it's a very small battery to be portable.To do better, you need to spend a lot on accessories. The magnetic attachment for ND filters is weak. 

 

Accessories to enhance the Osmo bag an ingenious  kit as the ND filters fit inside the lens The mobile phone and the osmo pocket 2  can be used together as a combination. Image quality is greatly improved with nd filters

 

 

 3. First, DJI requires that you  install and use a 420MB app on your phone before you can use the product. They have to go through pages and pages of policies and they are still using your information. 

 

The app won't even let you open it unless you allow it to use your phone's location. This is the type of product  you own but not really as they might lock you out of the device for some reason (it says in the 50 page policy). 

 

You also need a phone with a USB-C connection or an Apple connection to use the Product. I don't want to be forced  to use this camera by a compromised app from China. I bought the gimbals to use independently; Otherwise I would have used  my phone's camera, which has many more functions. 

 

Now for the real shortcomings of the gimbals camera as it is lacking in many crucial areas. It has what's called an exposure step, where the color and brightness of the image changes abruptly  as you move the camera, since it's not smooth in the highlight and shadow areas.

 

This leads to amateur images, especially at dusk, or misleading lighting situations. 4k images and  digital zoom become grainy in situations where there isn't a bright sun. 

 

The auto focus often hunts again. amateur recordings. - When you point the camera at the bright blue sky to film birds, etc., faint white halos appear in the picture. - 

 

The active pursuit mode is below average and misses more than it hits.-Slow motion footage is truncated.-Gimbals often gets lost when moving it sideways and down and needs to be reset.-Needs to mount another bottom plastic piece to get a tripod mount, then the USB connection is blocked. 

 

There's no external mic input that the cheaper competition has. They want you to spend more on the Creator Pack.-The battery life also lags behind some of the cheaper competitors. Overall very disappointing and missing key areas that are critical to  quality video footage.

The Creator Combo is great for live streaming because the do-it-all grip gives you  the tripod, wireless mic transmitter, and wide-angle lens. It's definitely a lot. and have everything you need for vlogging.
