1. Overall I am very happy with the cameras and have recently purchased 3 more. The animal/people detection for motion alerts was very good and a feature I really like. (wait and see how BigFoot registers!) good and the battery life was great.
My only complaint is that the setup doesn't seem as slick as it could be.I connect through the phone and it finds an update, then it stops working and I have to remove the battery and start over.
Another problem, like most other WiFi IoT devices, they don't work with WiFi 5. Trickier than a showstopper, but WiFi 6 is no longer available, so start by installing the latest WiFi chips.
2. Cameras work fine, however there has continuously been a slow response to motion like all the Arlo cameras. My biggest concern with the professional four cameras is that the spotlight scares away the animals i would like to record at night.
I am going into my Arlo app, shut down the spotlight and it still comes on with motion. Removed the battery, and even removed the camera from app and began over. Didn’t work.
